Banana Cheesecake
What's easy to make, packed with protein, requires no baking and is absolutely delicious? My No-Bake Banana Cheesecake!

This recipe came about because of my girlfriend, actually. For some crazy reason she wanted something a little "less healthy." Less healthy, you say? How about we compromise and I only put protein powder in the filling? She begrudgingly agreed. But when it was done, both of our taste buds jumped for joy!

Essentially, this recipe is just your average no-bake cheesecake. However, instead of sugar, I used honey (honey + banana = yes, please!). And instead of sweetened condensed milk, I used ripe banana. I also got a little creative with the crust. But it couldn't have turned out better. And I think after a taste, you will agree.

Here's the rundown.

Ingredients



Filling

  • 1scoop whey protein (I used BodyTech Whey 24 Vanilla)
  • 16oz fat free cream cheese (I used Philadelphia)
  • 1 incredibly ripe banana (about 114g)
  • 1oz creme de bananas liquor
  • 79g honey
  • 1tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.5tsp cinnamon

Crust

  • 24 reduced fat vanilla wafers (crushed)
  • 1cup Kashi Go Lean Crunch Honey Almond Flax Cereal (broken up, but not completely crushed)
  • 4tbsp reduced fat butter - melted (I used I Can't Believe It's Not Butter - Light)

Directions



  1. In a 9" round pie pan, mix together all of the ingredients for the crust until a clumpy and moist
  2. Push the crust against the bottom and the sides of the pan
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together all of the ingredients for the filling until smooth
  4. Pour the filling on top of the crust
  5. Put it in the freezer for at least 3 hours
