Blueberry Vanilla Protein Fluff
The first time I ever heard of protein fluff was on proteinpow.com. So, it's only fitting that is a variation of one of the recipes listed on the site. And wow, is this stuff great! It's basically like soft froyo but with macros to die for. Seriously, it tastes that good! The whole time I was eating it, I couldn't believe that it was so low in fat and that there was no sugar added. It's pretty amazing stuff... er fluff!
When I say it tastes like froyo, I mean it. I think if I put this stuff in an ice cream maker and let it churn for a while and then served it to my friends, nobody would believe that this wasn't store bought froyo. In fact, I think I just might do that. Only instead of giving it to my friends, I'll package it in ice cream containers and eat it all myself. OK, maybe I will share it with a few close friends.
Ingredients
- 44g BSN Whipped Vanilla Cream Dessert Protein Powder
- 1cup Frozen Blueberries
- 1tsp Agave Nectar
- 1oz Skim Milk (Almond Milk would work too)
Directions
- Using a hand blender, chunk all the ingredients up until smooth (I recommend using a pitcher so stuff doesn't splatter).
- Whisk to your desired level of fluffiness (an electric whisk is best).
- If you want it to be even more like froyo then alternate between mixing and 10-20min in the freezer until it reaches your desired creaminess.
